Thank you for visiting our site and your interest in the Heart&Sole 5K Road Race and Family Walk.
Each year more than 200,000 visits are made to Children's Hospital. The hospital serves children and families from all parts of Wisconsin, northern Illinois, Michigan's Upper Peninsula and beyond.
All proceeds from this event benefit Children's Hospital of Wisconsin.

4th Annual Heart & Sole 5k
will take place at 9AM.

July 12, 2008 marked the 3rd Annual running of the Heart&Sole 5k in Valders, Wisconsin. The charity event to benefit Children's Hospital of Wisconsin drew 113 participants.
Michael Bubolz, of Reedsville, was the overall winner again for the 3rd year in row; his time was 15:55. Michael holds our course record at 15:55 – Congratulations Michael!
The overall female winner was Sasha Karnes, Milwaukee in a time of 23:17. We hope that both Michael & Sasha will return to our race next year to challenge their own records.
The Heart&Sole 5k wants to thank the many sponsors, service clubs, volunteers, participants, donors & public servants for their tremendous efforts in making our event a HUGE success – without these fine people we would not have our event does not succeed.

Thank you to the Village of Valders, Police Chief William Riesterer, EMS – Mark Busse & staff, the Manitowoc County Sheriff's Dept. Volunteers, Rehab Plus & Sports Medicine – thank you for keeping our event safe & for giving your time to such a great cause.
To the Valders Area School District – you opened your doors to us & gave us everything we needed & more. Your staff went above & beyond to see that I had everything I needed. From facilities to volunteers and funding – you truly made the event possible – I cannot thank you enough.
